" When we plant a rose seed in the earth, we notice that it is small, but we do not criticize it as rootless and stemless. We treat it as a seed, giving it the water and nourishment required of a seed "
l am a British Horse Society certified Coach. I have discovered the pleasure of teaching and the satisfaction to passing on my knowledge to my students when l had my yard in Italy.
As
coach I have always tried to combine technical ( I believe the
technique is the base to progress ) and mental aspects, because many
instructors can explain the technique but I have found few instructors
who can explain how the mind affects our performance and ability to
learn ( our mental tension is transferred onto our muscle and this can
affect the learning process).
As a sportsman I discovered that many of my limitations and obstacles to my improvement were not technical but mental:
- We can only learn if we let go of our dependence on old mental schemes and concepts and habits.
- To start to learn again we must be able to transform ourself every day in a clean slate, this allows us to learn effectively.
I
am happy to help the people around me and my clients and friends in
their equestrian growth because I believe that my personal growth path
can also help others around me.
